"감사는 기적을 만들어 냅니다"
 Thanksgiving creates miracles

It is the season of Thanksgiving. When the season of thanksgiving comes around, I feel a calm fluttering in my heart. Christmas makes our hearts excited, but Thanksgiving makes our hearts grow deeper.

We are celebrating today as Thanksgiving Worship Service. I hope all of us can give the best of the best Thanksgiving expressions to God. I know that you all make every day a day of thanksgiving. However, I hope that each and every one of us can spend a little more time on meditating on gratitude, and express our thankful heart a little more specifically.

In English Word "thanksgiving, the word to "thank" was originated from the word to 'think". It means that we must "think" first in order to "thank". Deep thinking gives birth to understanding. The deeper our thinking gets, the deeper our understanding becomes. In order to realize and recognize something about God's grace and mercy in every moment of our lives, we must stop and think for a while of what God has done for us.

What it means "to thank" is to recognize that all that we now have is really God's things. Once we realize God's grace, we recognize Him and express our thankfulness for Him. The contents of our thanksgiving shows our true values. The content of our expressions of thanksgiving shows how mature we are. In some ways, the fact that we feel grateful to the Lord simply lets us know that we are already growing into maturity.

Immature people grumble and resent like children. Mature people, however, are thankful and feel grateful. When we meet those mature people who are filled with thankfulness, we are amazed that their circumstances are not any better than ours. Whatever their circumstances, their lives are filled with gratitude and thankfulness.

Our thankful hearts becomes abundant when we give thanks to the Lord. Grateful hearts enables us to see the things that we still have left rather than what we have lost. You already knew that 'thanking is an essential that creates miracles. Be thankful and grateful, and you may experience the wonderful work of God in our life.
